The Heart of My Work
Cindy Appanaitis (Babcock)
Movement, for me, has never just been physical.
When I feel anxious in my body, caught in a loop of overthinking, or disconnected from my own self-acceptance — I move.
Not to fix myself, but to meet myself.
When I get my body moving, my emotions begin to move too. The stuckness softens. The spiraling thoughts loosen their grip. And suddenly, there’s space — for clarity, for breath, for intuition to rise to the surface.
Movement clears the clutter, not just from my mind, but from my whole being.
It becomes a way home.
What I Believe
Movement isn’t just something you do — it’s a way to listen inward, shift your energy, and come back to yourself.
But too often, the way we’ve been taught to move is rooted in shame or performance: trying to “burn off” stress, fix our bodies, or prove our worth.
My work is about rewriting that narrative.
I believe movement can be an act of care, not pressure.
It can support your whole self — body, mind, heart, and spirit.
It can be both grounding and freeing, structured and intuitive.
It can help you:
Move through angst or emotional overwhelm
Reconnect with your breath and body
Release self-judgment and rebuild self-trust
Feel stronger, softer, and more like you
My Path Here
I’ve been a teacher since 2007 — leading Physical Education, Health, and Child Development classes — and a coach since 2001. Over time, I realized that what I loved most wasn’t just the movement itself, but the way it built confidence, connection, and self-belief in my students.
What I saw, again and again, was this:
When people feel safe and supported, movement becomes a gateway to empowerment. It creates space for joy, vulnerability, and growth — in both body and spirit.
That’s the foundation of my work today.
In 2017, I stepped into the world of personal development and wellness coaching. What started as a personal journey quickly became a calling. The tools I was learning weren’t just changing my life — they were transforming how I showed up as a teacher, a mother, a partner, and a person.
Now, I weave together all of it — movement, mindset, mentorship — to help people build wellness practices that feel intuitive, nourishing, and sustainable.
This work is about coming home to yourself.
Not someday — but now, in the body you already live in.
A Bit More About Me
I'm a mom of two girls, a lifelong community-builder, and someone who thrives on laughter, honesty, and human connection. I come from a family of eight kids, so I've always known the power of connection— and the importance of creating spaces where people feel seen and safe.
This is what I aim to create in every session, class, and program I offer:
Spaces where you’re invited to come as you are — and grow from there.
