The heart of my work is you.

Movement has never been just physical for me — it’s been one of my primary ways to connect with and understand my whole self: body, mind, heart, and spirit.

When I feel anxious, stuck, or disconnected, I move — not to fix myself, but to meet myself. Movement softens overwhelm, clears mental clutter, and creates space for breath, clarity, and self-connection. It becomes a way home.

Over time, I came to see movement not just as exercise, but as a doorway — a way to notice how deeply our bodies, thoughts, feelings, energy, and patterns of stress are connected. Through this awareness, I learned how the way we live, respond to pressure, and care for ourselves shapes our inner world.

Too often, we’ve been taught to move — and live — from a place of pressure or performance: trying to fix ourselves, push through discomfort, or prove our worth. My work is about rewriting that narrative.

I believe movement with awareness can be an act of care, not something to manage or perfect — a practice of meeting yourself where you are and supporting your whole self.

Sometimes care for your wellbeing shows up through movement. Sometimes it’s through reflection, emotional awareness, or simply choosing a kinder, more supportive way forward.

This work helps you soften self-judgment, rebuild self-trust, move through overwhelm, and feel more grounded, connected, and at home within yourself.

About Me

Cindy Appanaitis (Babcock)

I’ve been teaching since 2007 and coaching since 2001, but what I’ve always loved most is how movement builds confidence, connection, and self-belief. Again and again, I’ve seen that when people feel safe and supported, movement becomes a gateway to empowerment — creating space for joy, vulnerability, and growth in both body and spirit.

In 2017, I expanded into personal development and wellbeing coaching. What began as a personal journey quickly became a calling, reshaping how I show up as a teacher, mother, partner, and person. Today, I bring it all together — movement, mindset, and whole-self care — to help others notice their patterns, respond with clarity and compassion, and create practices that feel intuitive, nourishing, and sustainable. This work is about coming home to yourself, here and now, in the body and life you’re already living.

I’m a mom of two girls, a lifelong community-builder, and someone who thrives on laughter, honesty, and human connection. Growing up in a family of ten taught me the power of belonging — and the importance of creating spaces where people feel seen and safe.

Today, I also serve as Program Director at Les Mills Philomath, a small studio with members ranging from their mid-30s to mid-70s. I love seeing people inspire one another and adapt programs to fit their lives — a daily reminder that movement and care can work for every body, at every stage of life.

That’s what I aim to cultivate in every session, class, and program: spaces where you’re invited to come exactly as you are — and grow from there.
